Step by step guide to integrate Google Drive with Lexis® Create DMS
Note: In cases where an out-of-the-box integration with your Document Management System (DMS) is not available, you can transfer your data (precedents, templates etc.) to Google Drive. Overview of some important criteria to consider.
Important: Please ensure that your DMS API endpoint is accessible on port 443, port 8443, or port 9443.
Henchman advises to use a Team Drive instead of a My Drive for storing the contracts. When using a Team drive, all members of the team can upload files and Lexis® Create DMS will be able to pick them up. When using a My Drive, only files uploaded by the Service user or user setting up the connection, will be picked up by Lexis® Create DMS.
- Active a service user
- Database review: Decide on what to synchronize
- Connect via Lexis® Create DMS Portal
- Deploy Word/Outlook Add-In
By following the above steps your Google Drive will be integrated with Lexis® Create DMS.
