Steps to take when migration to iManageCloud
Once you migrated to iManage Cloud you can follow below steps to set up the iManage Cloud connection with Lexis® Create DMS:
1. Request and enable access to LexisNexis-Draft Faster app
In comparison with iManage on-prem, there’s no need to enter any application IDs or application secrets. When navigating to iManage Login , you will see a button to add an application. If you click that button, a list of applications that can be added to your cloud instance will show up. These are so called ‘Universal Applications’. Some of them are visible by default for every iManage Cloud customer, but ours needs to be enabled by iManage support for it to show up in your catalog. If it helps iManage locate our application within their database more easily, you can tell them the application ID for the app ‘LexisNexis - Draft Faster’ is 992286b7-8358-4313-9633-45bebbdf9a19.
2. Log out of iManage
3. Log in to iManage Cloud with the service user account
4. Go to the Lexis® Create DMS Portal (for LexisCreateDMS customers) or to Lexis Create+ Portal (for Lexis Create+ customers) and login with your own account
You will need to set up a new connection in our Lexis® Create DMS Portal (for LexisCreateDMS customers) or Lexis Create+ Portal (for Lexis Create+ customers)
6. Reach out to support.lexiscreatedms@lexisnexis.com and share:
- we will set up dynamic labels and (pre-set) filters for you, just like you had on your On-Prem/Work instance
- we will set up permissions (if needed)
- we will approve the connection and start the file sync on iManage Cloud
- we will delete the old iManage On-Prem/Work connection
⚠️ Customer will lose manually created Lists & Labels when migrating.
