Step by step guide to integrate SharePoint On-Prem with Lexis® Create DMS

 

System Requirements

  • Sharepoint Server version >= 2019

  • In order for Lexis® Create DMS to be able to search through the available Sharepoint sites, a search application should be created in Sharepoint. Create and configure a Search service application in SharePoint Server - SharePoint Server . For more info about the need for the search application, see the section below.

  • The server should support NTLM as a means of authenticating

  • The server should have the REST API enabled & the created service account should be able to access the REST API

 

Important: Please ensure that your DMS API endpoint is accessible on port 443, port 8443, or port 9443.

  1. Activate a service account 
  2. Database review: Decide on what to synchronize 
  3. Connect via Lexis® Create DMS Portal 
  4. Deploy Word/Outlook Add-In 

By following the above steps your SharePoint Cloud will be integrated with Lexis® Create DMS.
