# Sharepoint On-Prem integration GUIDE

## Step by step guide to integrate SharePoint On-Prem with Lexis® Create DMS

### System Requirements

- Sharepoint Server version >= 2019
- In order for Lexis® Create DMS to be able to search through the available Sharepoint sites, a **search application** should be created in Sharepoint. [Create and configure a Search service application in SharePoint Server - SharePoint Server](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/search/create-and-configure-a-search-service-application) . For more info about the need for the search application, see the section below.
- The server should support **NTLM **as a means of authenticating
- The server should have the** REST API enabled** & the created service account should be able to access the REST API

 

**Important**: Please ensure that your DMS API endpoint is accessible on *port 443, port 8443,* or *port 9443*.

By following the above steps your SharePoint Cloud will be integrated with Lexis® Create DMS.
